Service scope

IMX Japan provides vehicle sourcing and Japan-side coordination services. The exact transaction scope is determined by the relevant vehicle, quotation, payment request and agreed communications.

Vehicle and auction information

Vehicle information displayed on the website is based on source information available at the time. Auction availability, timing, condition information and pricing can change. Auction Start Price is the opening auction price and is not the final purchase, export or landed price. A genuine start price of ¥0 may therefore be displayed as ¥0.

Customer approval and bidding

No auction bid should be treated as approved until the customer and IMX Japan have agreed the relevant vehicle and intended bid/purchase instruction.

Payments

Customer payments are made by bank transfer according to the agreed stages. Customers should verify official payment details before transferring funds.

Shipping, export and documentation

Shipping method, vessel availability, route, port timing and documentation depend on the specific shipment. IMX coordinates the Japan-side process through Bill of Lading surrender/release as applicable.

Destination responsibilities

Destination customs clearance, duties, taxes, port/local charges, registration and local compliance remain the responsibility of the customer or appointed agent unless separately agreed in writing.

Availability and delays

Live inventory and auction opportunities can change without notice. Shipping and operational timing can also be affected by third parties, vessel schedules, ports, weather and other circumstances outside IMX's direct control.
